At the beginning of the month we hosted the Oh! Canada Tournament, thank you to all the players that came out and made the event a success! Following that some players made their way to Edmonton for the RCC (River City Cup) last weekend. We had a huge showing at that event. Congratulations to the winners of these events!
In August we will have a slight break in events in North Battleford. but we will see players doing more traveling as other clubs are hosting their own events. One of the big ones being the Saskatchewan open in Regina (see link). For list of events in the province and beyond go to Disc Golf Scene.
Even though the club is not hosting any event in August, it doesnt mean we are sitting still. In September we are pleased to host the 2019 Gold Eagle open. Before the event much still has to happen to the course at Jackfish Lake. The course is playable but there are still things that need to be done. If you are interested in lending a hand check out this link to one volunteer event we are having.
